![]() FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE By: Zac Thompson JULY 4, 2013 Burlington ON - It has been 30 years since the Hamilton/Halton Junior golf tour teed off for its very first season in 1984. One of the original tour stops was held at HIDDEN LAKE GOLF CLUB (Old Course). A young man by the name of JEFF MOORE won his first and only event during his time as a member of the tour shooting a 71. Now, 3 decades later JEFF holds the position as BUSINESS MANAGER AND HEAD PROFESSIONAL OF GOLF OPERTIONS FOR THE CITY OF BRANTFORD working out of NORTHRIDGE and ARROWDALE MUNICIPAL GOLF COURSES.... On THURSDAY JULY 4, the HAMILTON/HALTON JUNIOR GOLF TOUR returned to HIDDEN LAKE GOLF CLUB for a round on the NEW COURSE. In spectacular fashion, ZAC MOORE of BRANTFORD GOLF & COUNTRY CLUB, who happens to be the son ofJEFF MOORE, followed his father’s footsteps recording a mirror-image 71 in the JUNIOR MENS DIVISION In the BANTAM BOYS DIVISON, JOHNNY TRAVALE of GLENDALE GOLF &CC shot the low score of 75. FINALLY, in the GIRLS DIVISON, VICTORIA MAZZAROLO of the HAMILTON GOLF &CCcame out victorious shooting 84. The HAMILTON/HALTON JUNIOR GOLF TOUR meets again for TOUR STOP #2 at GLENDALE GOLF & COUNTRY CLUB on MONDAY JULY 8 2013.
