![]() For Immediate Release July 8, 2013 By: Zac Thompson Hamilton ON - Winning a golf tournament isn’t easy, but to win the HAMILTON / HALTON JUNIOR GOLF TOUR, which consists of 7 rounds over seven different golf courses, is extremely difficult. Sustained consistent play is the key to success. Round two, which was played at the par 72 GLENDALE GOLF & COUNTY CLUB, is now in the books and DANIAL KNAPP (Dundas Valley Golf & C.C.) took the top honours in the Junior Men’s Division with a 3 over par 75.... DAVIS JEWITT (Burlington G.&C.C.) and MIKEY WHITE (Oak Gables) shared second place after turning in 76’s.
In the Bantam Boys Division LACHLAN O’HARA (Credit Valley) signed for a 75 and that led the field in that Division. 10 year old ALYSSA DiMARCANTONIO is becoming a player to watch as she went around Glendale in 87 shots and that was low in the Girls Division. But the Tour Champion in each Division is not determined by one day’s play. Players accumulate points based on their order of finish at each event. Here are the points standings of the leaders after two rounds: JUNIOR BOYS DIVISION
