HAMILTON/HALTON JUNIOR GOLF TOUR TEES OFF FOR ITS 30TH ANNUAL SEASON

Hamilton ON - Sunday June 2nd gathered hopeful players from all
across the Hamilton/Halton region each with the goal of qualifying for the HAMILTON/HALTON JUNIOR GOLF TOUR’s 2013 season.

The event was held at the Stanley Thompson designed par 70 CHEDOKE CIVIC GOLF COURSE (Martin) with questionable weather, spectacular golf, and great scores.

In the JUNIOR MENS division DAVIS JEWITT of BURLINGTON G&CC and NICK FREEMAN of HERON POINT GOLF LINKS shared low round honours with scores of 75.

In the BANTAM BOYS division JOHNNY TRAVALE of GLENDALE G&CC fired the low round with an impressive  74.

On behalf of the Hamilton/Halton Junior Golf Tour, we would like to congratulate all 36 JUNIOR MENS qualifiers, as well as the 10 qualifiers from the BANTAM BOYS division on earning a position on the Tour for the upcoming 2013 season.

The race for Hamilton/Halton Junior Golf Tour supremacy in the Junior Mens and Bantam Boys divisions begins July 4th at HIDDEN LAKE GOLF CLUB in Burlington.  Check the tour website www.hhjgt.com for scoring updates and details of all events.
